Saint Saviour shares auto-tuned lullaby "Wake Me"
Saint Saviour has shared her new auto-tuned single "Wake Me".
"Wake Me" is Saint Saviour's second single of 2020, after February's Willy Mason collaboration "Rock Pools".
Saint Saviour says of her auto-tuned new track, ""Wake Me" was written in Hastings, looking out at the sea and the horizon. I’d escaped London and my 18 month old for a week to get some headspace for a new album in peace. I think it’s possibly the most personal song I’ve written. It’s about struggling to express what you want to say in words, feeling locked inside yourself, something I’ve dealt with for as long as I can remember."
The new track is Saint Saviour's third single in the past five years, following on from "Rock Pools" and last year's Badly Drawn Boy collaboration "The Place I Want To Be".
She's yet to follow up her 2014 album In The Seams.
