Sacked Beach Boys members announce summer tour without Mike Love
Following Mike Love’s rather tactless decision to sack his bandmates and own cousin last year, several of the original Beach Boys are set to tour on their own.
Previous reports had suggested that founding members Brian Wilson, David Marks and Al Jardine were deciding to go it alone, gradually booking a handful of shows for the summer – with Jardine openly speaking of his intent to continue touring, with or without Love.
But now it’s officially, with the first of an expected flurry of dates beginning in July booked for North America. Those are below, via Consequence of Sound.

26 – Highland Park, IL @ Ravinia Fesetival
