RZA and Yoko Ono to collaborate on commemorative 10″ release
-
Three years on from a surreal evening that saw Wu-Tang Clan founder and unlikely chess fanatic RZA take on Yoko Ono, the pair have announced that they are to team up again, this time on a 10″ commemorating the event.
Featuring live recordings of two songs, ‘Seed Of Joy / Life Is A Struggle’ and ‘Greenfield Morning I Pushed An Empty Baby Carriage All Over The City’ by Yoko’s own Plastic Ono Band, just 1,000 copies will be released of the one-sided vinyl. It will also feature an etching by Yoko on the b-side, with proceeds of both vinyl and digital copies going towards the Children’s Literary Society.
