Ryley Walker celebrates the Fourth Of July in his video for new song "The Roundabout"
Ryley Walker shares "The Roundabout", an invigorating taste of upcoming record Golden Sings That Have Been Sung.
The track follows "The Halfwit In Me" in teasing Walker's new record. The accompanying clip is directed, filmed, and edited by Joe Martinez Jr. - Walker explains: “Fourth of July in Pilsen is the height of summer in Chicago.. Dozens of crews with ad hoc explosives and a beer in hand make for a blitzkrieg celebration. I lived at 21st/Leavitt some years back and got to know this evening first hand very well. Forever my favorite part of summer in the city. This video hopefully captures a few of those moments of joy from the people involved.”
Golden Sings That Have Been Sung is out 19 August via Dead Oceans. The record follows last year's Primrose Green.
Walker is due to tour extensively during the coming months, with dates across North America, the UK, and Europe. Find the full dates on his website.
