Ryley Walker announces new LP Golden Sings That Have Been Sung
Ryley Walker has announced his new record Golden Sings That Have Been Sung, and shared lead cut "The Halfwit In Me".
Walker headed into the studio over his Christmas break to record it with Wilco multi-instrumentalist LeRoy Bach. “It was everything I wanted it to be,” Walker says. “I would go to LeRoy’s house every other day with a riff, and we would take it from there.”
Golden Sings That Have Been Sung is out 19 August via Dead Oceans. The record follows last year's Primrose Green.
Walker is playing LP launch shows at London's Rough Trade East on the day of release, and at Chicago's Empty Bottle on 25 August. Check out his upcoming live shows.
