RY X returns with new cut "Let You Go"
RY X is back with his first single of 2022, "Let You Go".
"Let You Go" is RY X's first outing since his second Howling album Colure landed in 2020, and lands with a self-directed video shot by Benjamin Hardman that was filmed on an Icelandic beach.
RY X says of the release, "This song formed from the beginnings of many others, tumbled itself into being, and became one of the centre points of the album energetically for me. An anchor in seas of different sounds, both emotionally and sonically. It intuitively felt right to be one of the first songs shared in the journey of this new body of work, and I'm excited the moment is here."
"Let You Go" is produced by RY X, and was co-written with Eric Price from his live band.
He's yet to follow up his 2019 solo album Unfurl.
