RY X delivers stunning new cut "Foreign Tides"
Australia's RY X shares "Foreign Tides", another enchanting cut from his forthcoming second LP Unfurl.
"Foreign Tides" is the latest offering from RY X, and while keeping to his intimate sound, it arrives as one of the more upbeat offerings from his Unfurl record.
The accompanying video delivers stunning setups from Lebanon and the coast of Beirut, and shows RY X as the first Western musician to gain access to Lebanon's ancient Roman Temple of Bacchus, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The other locations see the Australian musician perform his new track in the Roman ruins of Baalbek in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, as well as Lebanon's stunning Baatara gorge waterfall.
On the visuals RY X says he "was immersed in the beauty of the land there. Not just the land, but the people too, and the culture. I wanted to allow these essences into the work and swim in all of it."
The new single is the fifth to be shared from Unfurl, after last week's "Water", and 2018 singles "YaYaYa", "Bound", and "Untold".
