Run The Jewels release new song "for everyone who is hurting or scared right now"
Run The Jewels have a remedy "for everyone who is hurting or scared right now" - it's called "2100" and it features Boots.
The new track arrives after last month's "Talk To Me", which previews their upcoming third record. El-P says that it wasn't written directly about the US election, but it "seems to fit" - in a statement shared with the single, the producer/rapper says "it's about fear and it's about love and it's about wanting more for all of us".
Run The Jewels 3 will follow 2014's Run The Jewels 2 when it finally arrives - there's no release date yet, but El-P said earlier this year it might be out before 2016's end.
Although they've not released a record in two years - today, 24 October, is actually the second birthday of their second record - Killer Mike and El-P have definitely been busy. Last year they released a reworked version of Run The Jewels 2 made entirely of cat sounds.
