Run The Jewels are launching their own cannabis strain
Run The Jewels have announced details of a new cannabis strain named after their RTJ4 track "Ooh La La".
El-P and Killer Mike's own cannabis strain is launched in partnership with LEMONNADE, the sister brand of COOKIES.
Ooh La La is a hybrid cannabis strain that "merges LEMONNADE’s sativa focus with RTJ’s indica appreciation to achieve the ideal hybrid strain."
The smell is decribed as "Spice cake and vanilla frosting", while the taste is expected to have flavours of "sweet fruit cake with a herbal tea finish". The strain will apparently provide a "head high with a light body feel".
Run The Jewels write of the strain and collaboration, "This collab with our homie Berner - the Bay Area rapper and entrepreneur who built COOKIES into one of the largest cannabis brands in the world - is based on a shared love of music, cannabis and advocacy."
The Ooh La La strain will be available as pre-rolls, vapes, extracts and blunts from dispensaries in California. Run The Jewels are also planning to launch their strain in dispensaries in Michigan, Washington, Colorado, Oregon, Oklahoma, Arizona and Illinois later this year.
Proud to roll out Ooh LA LA - one of our newest collaborations with @berner415 #Lemonnade @cookiesglobal
