R&S Records announce U.S distribution and marketing deal
Influential electronic label, R&S Records have signed an alliance deal with the !K7 Label Group to expand the company in North America.
The London-based imprint, founded in Belgium in 1983, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and has released music from the likes of Aphex Twin, James Blake and Delphic during their long history.
The move will see !K7, which has a licensing deal with Frenchkiss Records and others, help with physical and digital distribution, marketing, strategy and other label services.
!K7 boss Horst Weidenmuller said of the announcement:
“For my company the US has always been the biggest market, and we are all working hard to achieve the same for Renaat and his great team”.
