Denmark's Roskilde has announced a raft of new names for its 2016 festivities, including Reykjavíkurdætur, At The Drive-In, and Freddie Gibbs.
Also confirmed are Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Last Shadow Puppets, Choir Of Young Believers, Sudakistan, Have You Ever Seen the Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS?, Gundelach, Kakkmaddafakka, Chinah, Blue Pills, Ex Eye, Fox Millions Duo, Gents, Bersærk, Emilie Ramirez, Milkywhale, Guardian Alien, and Diät.
There are still over 100 acts to be announced for the Scandinavian shindig, with the full line up revealed in April.
The fest's Head of Programme Anders Wahrén says: “There is an abundance of exciting Nordic talent, and we regard it as both a privilege and a responsibility to present these stars of the future to an enthusiastic audience. Our two stages dedicated to these acts – Rising and Countdown – are geographically close to each other, so our fans can catch all the Nordic starlets. If their legs and ears are ready for it, that is!”
Tickets for Roskilde Festival, which takes place between 25 June and 2 July in Denmark, are on sale now.
Other confirmed acts include LCD Soundsystem, PJ Harvey, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Foals, New Order, Aurora, Mac DeMarco, Courtney Barnett, and Action Bronson.
