Rosalía unveils new song "DESPECHÁ"
Rosalía has released a new track titled "DESPECHÁ" after debuting it live during her ongoing MOTOMAMI tour.
At Rosalía's first MOTOMAMI tour show in Almería, Spain earlier this month, fans were treated to performances of songs from her latest album, the live debut of 2020's "Dolerme", a cover of La Factoría and Eddy Lover's "Perdóname", as well as some unreleased tracks titled "AISLAMIENTO", "DINERO Y LIBERTAD" and "DESPECHÁ".
Rosalía then previewed "DESPECHÁ" on TikTok, and now the song has been given an official release.
"There are many ways to be "Despechá", in this theme it is from the freeness or the craziness, moving without reservations or regrets," Rosalía said of the track. "This is the place from where I make music, from where I did it when I first started and where I will continue to until God says so. I'm grateful for having been able to travel in recent years and have learned from music from other places including the DR, where artists like Fefita La Grande, Juan Luis Guerra and Omega have inspired me and without them this song would not exist."
