Rosalía joins The Weeknd on new remix of "Blinding Lights"
The Weeknd has recruited Rosalía to feature on a fresh remix of his huge "Blinding Lights" single.
Those rumours about Rosalía featuring on a new remix of The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" have turned out to be true, and the bilingual remix has been released today (4 December).
Rosalía's appearance onn The Weeknd's remix is her first outing since featuring ok Arca's "KLK" in June.
It's still unclear if the new remix of "Blinding Lights" is to mark the track's one-year anniversary since release. The remix may also be a response to "Blinding Lights" being the most streamed track in the world on Spotify for 2020, or a response to The Weeknd being snubbed from the 2021 Grammy nominations despite the success of his After Hours album and singles.
As well as collaborating with Arca this year, Rosalía linked with Travis Scott for "TKN" in May, and released her "Dolerme" single in March.
