Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever preview new album with third cut "My Echo"
Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have released new cut "My Echo" as the third taster of their Endless Rooms album that's out next month.
"My Echo" is, in Fran Keaney's own words, "about being surrounded by phone screens, computer screens, tv screens, paranoia and loss of time and place," and will feature on their Endless Rooms album with earlier singles "Tidal River" and "The Way It Shatters".
Keaney adds, "The album recording is pretty faithful to the very first rough recording. Most of Tom’s leads were improvised but they became the DNA of the song."
Endless Rooms is the first Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever album to be self-produced, and will follow 2020's Sideways To New Italy album.
The band adds of the album, "It's almost an anti-concept album. The Endless Rooms of the title reflects our love of creating worlds in our songs. We treat each of them as a bare room to be built up with infinite possibilities."
