Robyn, Mapei and Dev Hynes to release cover of Neneh Cherry's "Buffalo Stance"
Neneh Cherry has revealed that Robyn, Mapei and Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange) will be releasing a cover of her "Buffalo Stance" track tomorrow (3 March).
"Buffalo Stance" was originally released in 1988, and tomorrow (3 March) Robyn and Mapei will release their version of Neneh Cherry's original, which also features contributions from Dev Hynes.
Neneh Cherry wrote on socials, "It feels strange to be doing this with everything going on in the world right now but….I am still so honoured and excited to announce that my incredible friend Robyn has covered "Buffalo Stance" with Mapei and Dev Hynes for a beautiful new version!"
She added, "I am truly touched and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it. Released on Thursday its part of a new project I’ll be able to talk about soon, in the meantime you can pre save the track now."
