Robyn makes monumental comeback with sensational single "Missing U"
Pop Queen Robyn is back after far too long with her new single "Missing U".
The Swedish superstar's new track was flying around as rumours last week before she officially announced it on Friday (27 July). Robyn then revealed a seven-minute documentary soundtracked by "Missing U".
Today she puts the heart palpitations at ease as she finally reveals her dazzling new '90s pop single, "Missing U". "Missing U" was written and recorded between Paris and Stockholm, and features production from Metronomy's Joe Mount, and frequent collaborator Klas Åhlund.
"'Missing U' is a song about this trippy thing that happens when people disappear," Robyn explains. "It’s like they become even more clear and you see them everywhere."
Robyn hasn't officially released an album since 2010's Body Talk, but last year a snippet of a track called "Honey" was used on HBO's Girls. Despite not having revealed much solo work, she has been busy collaborating with artists such as Metronomy, Todd Rundgren, and has posted clips of her working in the studio with Zhala.
