Robin S. thanks Beyoncé for "Show Me Love" sample and says she wants to collaborate
Robin S. has expressed her thanks to Beyoncé after "Show Me Love" was sampled in the star's latest single "Break My Soul", and also said she would want to work with Beyoncé in the future.
Earlier this week Beyoncé returned with her first Renaissance single "Break My Soul", which samples Robin S.'s "Show Me Love" and features Big Freedia.
After receiving praise from the likes of Michelle Obama and Big Freedia, Robin S. revealed on Good Morning Britain that she's thankful to Beyoncé and her "entire team" for the "Show Me Love" sample in "Break My Soul".
The "Show Me Love" singer said on Good Morning Britain, "Thank you so much for giving me my flowers while I’m still alive. I am honoured, and I’m excited to see what else can happen."
Robin S. also revealed that she found out about "Break My Soul" through her son, who told her that she was "trending everywhere" after Beyoncé's song release.
"Maybe we can do a collab together," Robin S. added. "That's always a dream ... I can't even. Wow. Just a lot of thanks."
