Rita Ora shares Lewis Capaldi-penned single "How To Be Lonely"
Rita Ora is back with new single "How To Be Lonely", which was written with Lewis Capaldi.
"How To Be Lonely" is Rita Ora's first single of 2020, and follows on from last year's Tiësto and Jonas Blue collaboration "Ritual".
As well as writing the new track, Lewis Capaldi also sings backing vocals and plays guitar on the single.
Ora says of the new track, "I’m so excited to release my new single "How To Be Lonely", a song that I’m very proud of. I’ve loved working with Lewis on this track and it’s been a lot of fun. He’s a great talent and a man of the moment and I really connected with the lyrics when he originally sent it to me."
She adds, "Travelling the world, working and experiencing different countries and being on the road constantly, I've learnt over the years to enjoy my own company and cherish every interaction. This song is inspired by lots of different periods of my life; times where I’ve come to realise that we’re all valuable people, something we should cherish, and that while connections are important, we don’t ever need the approval of others. When you’re alone, remember that you are enough and that you have the strength to make your own choices. Enjoy being you!"
