Get to know rising East London rapper ALORA on our Instagram live series Off The Road

This week's guests have included rising British songwriter and producer Griff and Toronto-based indie outfit Little Kid. Friday's episode will see us joined live by ALORA who has spent lockdown working on and releasing a number of incredible freestyles via her own Instagram.

From the heart of East London, singles "Julie" and "The Home Coming" are highlights. ALORA channels old school hip hop and soul and the sounds of her Nigerian hometown having spent six months connecting with her West African heritage before dropping the latter as her debut release.

Tomorrow she's putting out the third installment of her Lockdown Diary series and dropping by our profile to tell us more. "Being on lockdown was a unique, intense and emotional rollercoaster that I will never forget. I've learnt so much during this time and I'm ready to share my growth with the world."
