Rina Sawayama performs "XS" during US TV debut on Fallon
Rina Sawayama made her US TV debut last night (26 October) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with a performance of "XS".
"XS" featured on Rina Sawayama's April debut LP SAWAYAMA, and last night (26 October) the British-Japanese artist made her US TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Sawayama wrote of her performance on Instagram, "this morning I pinched myself."
Back in August Sawayama confirmed that the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) were evaluating the eligibility rules for the Mercury Prize Award after she revealed she wasn't eligible for the award despite living in the UK for 25 years.
Sawayama has even found a fan in Elton John, who called her debut album "my favourite album of the year" back in June on his Apple Music Rocket Hour show.
