Rina Sawayama cancels 2022 European tour due to "recent COVID surge"
Rina Sawayama has cancelled her March European tour dates due to the "recent COVID surge", but has also teased "a bigger show and new music".
This morning (7 January) Rina Sawayama shared a statement to socials cancelling her 2022 European tour dates inn March. Sawayama wrote, "Due to the ongoing restrictions resulting from the recent COVID surge, I'm having to cancel all my European tour dates in March this year."
"I was so excited to come play for you all, so this is hugely disappointing," Sawayama continued. "But I'll be heading to the EU again soon with a bigger show and new music (eeeee)."
Sawayama ended her statement by adding that refunds "will be available at the original point of purchase."

Back in November last year Sawayama gave an update on her second album, revealing that she was "just trying to finish writing it."
