Rihanna will be in the studio with Pharrell on Valentine's Day
Rihanna has revealed that she'll be spending her Valentine's Day working in the studio with Pharrell.
Speaking to The Cut on Friday (7 February), Rihanna confirmed that she will be spending her Valentine's Day working on her highly-anticipated ninth album.
Rihanna said of her Valentine's Day plans, "I’m going to be in the studio. I’m so excited actually. I can’t say who I’m working with, but it’s somebody I’ve been wanting to work with him for a long time."
She then revealed who she'll be working with, "Okay, I’ll tell you. [It’s] Pharrell."
Pharrell and Rihanna previously worked together on N.E.R.D.'s 2017 single "Lemon".
Rihanna has kept pretty quiet about her new LP. In October 2019, she described the album to The New York Times as "a reggae-inspired or reggae-infused album".
