Rihanna says she wants to release her new music "completely differently" than before
In her seventh cover story for Vogue, Rihanna revealed that she wants to release her new music "completely differently from the way I had wanted to put it out before."
Rihanna is the cover star for Vogue's May issue, and today (12 April) a new interview with the star was published, and it sees her briefly touch on her new music, revealing that she wants to release it "completely differently" than her previous records.
She said, "I’m looking at my next project completely differently from the way I had wanted to put it out before. I think this way suits me better, a lot better."
Rihanna adds, "It’s authentic, it’ll be fun for me, and it takes a lot of the pressure off."
In the same interview, Rihanna also called her 2016 album Anti "my best album to this day."
The new Vogue interview marks Rihanna's first (sort of) update on her new music since saying in December last year that new music was coming "soon soon soon".
