Rihanna planning to release own cookbook, assures fans that she's "always working on my music"
Rihanna has revealed in a new interview that she's "always working on my music", and is planning to release her own cookbook.
The last update Rihanna gave on her new music was in March when she said she was "very aggressively working on music".
Skylar Grey went on to tease a clip of a new Rihanna song during an Instagram Live back in September, but there's been no news about Rihanna's follow up to 2016's ANTI since then.
Now that 2021 is just days away, Rihanna has spoken to Closer about lockdown, and has reassured fans about her upcoming music.
Speaking about juggling multiple businesses and lockdown, Rihanna said, "I love what I do - but I am always busy and quarantine gave me the time to do things I wouldn’t always have been able to do – watch an entire box set in a day, cook, go for walk. It’s important we do little things we enjoy and are kind to ourselves."
Rihanna also revealed to Closer that she's planning her own Caribbean-inspired cookbook, and assured fans that she's "always working on my music".
She also revealed that the pandemic and lockdown allowed her creativity to blossom, "At first it was strange because I am not used to being still – but during quarantine you have no choice but to be still. Then you start to realise during lockdown you are stuck there with your own thoughts and your imagination and it really helped my creativity blossom."
On what 2021 could bring, Rihanna added, "2021 is a little unknown for everybody and nobody is sure what restrictions there are going to be. My creativity is within my control though, and I want to take my music and my brands to a different level."
