Rihanna makes huge debut on Sunday Times Rich List
The Sunday Times Rich List has been revealed, and Rihanna has made her huge debut, taking third place.
Around a year ago, Rihanna revealed that she lives in London, and although she hasn't released new music yet (apart from featuring on PARTYNEXTDOOR's "Believe It" in March), she has been busy working on her Fenty Beauty and Fenty fashion brand.
Her business empire has resulted in Rihanna making her debut appearance on The Sunday Times Rich List, and she's right near the top in third place, with an estimated fortune of £468million.
As BBC notes, her 15% stake in Fenty reportedly makes up the majority of that figure, and is worth approximately £351million. She's officially the richest female musician on Earth, worth more than Madonna, Celine Dion and Beyoncé.
Robert Watts, who compiles The Sunday Times Rich List, says, "She somewhat caught us by surprise. Very few people knew she was living in the UK until last summer. Now she's well placed to be the first musician to reach billionaire status in the UK."
Andrew Lloyd Webber and Paul McCartney are listed as joint first place on the list, both with an estimated fortune of £800million. Sir Elton John sits below Rihanna on the list, with £360million.
Ed Sheeran is the richest person on the list that's under 30. He earned $40million more than 2019 thanks to his huge Divide world tour, and is now worth £200m.
