Ride announce Oxford warm up show for 5 April, tickets on sale now
Legendary shoegazers Ride have announced a warm-up show in their hometown of Oxford ahead of their upcoming May/June tour.
The recently reunited band are set to play a range of festivals this summer, including Field Day and Primavera, after splitting in 1996.
Announcing the new shows back in November, Ride's frontman Mark Gardener said: "People bought our records first time round, but our music has grown in significance since we've been away... we want to give the people what they want. We'd be idiots to go out and play a new album, but that's not to say we wouldn't make new music."
Ride will play Oxford's O2 Academy on Sunday 5 April. Tickets will are available now from here. They have also confirmed new shows in L.A. and Brooklyn.
