Producer extraordinaire Rick Rubin has been handed a Lifetime of Harmony Award from the David Lynch Foundation, with a ceremony held this past Thursday (27 February).
As Rolling Stone report, the award helps promote transcendental meditation and “teaching TM to at-risk populations”. The film producer and co decided to honour Rubin for what they deem a “lifetime of meditation”.
Rubin himself, however, remained humble throughout. “Rubin didn’t even get onstage to accept the award,” Rolling Stone add. “Lynch had to bring it to Rubin’s table in the audience”.
