Earlier this week, Rich Aucoin and Noah Pink took home the inaugural Prism Prize for the best Canadian music video for their clip to ‘Brian Wilson is A.L.I.V.E’, beating competition from the likes of Arcade Fire (‘Sprawl II‘), Grimes (‘Genesis‘ and ‘Oblivion‘), Metz (‘Wet Blanket‘) and Drake (‘H.Y.F.R‘) amongst others.
Prism founder Louis Calabro praised the video’s “fun and frantic” tone and “simple and smart concept” that finds Aucoin creating a bio-pic of Brian Wilson in just over 4 minutes.
