Rhye previews new album with fourth single "Come In Closer"
Rhye is back with his first single of 2021, "Come In Closer", the fourth track to be lifted from his upcoming album Home.
"Come In Closer" follows last year's "Black Rain", "Helpless" and "Beautiful" tracks, and is accompanied by an adorable music video directed by Rhye, real name Mike Milosh, and Genevieve Medow-Jenkins.
According to The FADER, Rhye said the release explores how "as relationships deepen and you invite someone into your world, your life, your home, layers of appreciation, vulnerability, and patience reveal themselves."
Milosh added of the video on Twitter, "Today brings the final release before the Home album. We shot the video in Big Sur, a place very dear to us, and focuses on children and the tiny worlds they inhabit, living without fear or inhibition, wild with the joy of simply being."
Home will be Rhye's first LP since 2019's Spirit album.
Last month he made an appearance on SG Lewis' "Time" track. Both artists will host Best Fit's first Off The Road stream of 2021 tomorrow (8 January) via Instagram.
