It has already been announced that The Replacements have reunited for a new tour, the first in 22 years. Last year, they got together for a covers album benefitting guitarist Slim Dunlap who had suffered a stroke. Now a line-up has been confirmed.
Accompanying frontman Paul Westerberg and bassist Tommy Stinson will be session drummer Josh Freese (of A Perfect Circle and Guns N’ Roses) and Boston guitarist David Minehan, as StarTribune reports.
The Replacements will headline a total of three Riot Fest gigs, in Chicago, Toronto and Denver.
