Record Of The Day Awards announce 2012 winners
The annual Record Of The Day Awards were held last night, with Best Fit winning ‘Digital Publication of the Year’.
The event, hosted at a ceremony in London, heralds the best in UK music journalism and PR.
As well as the online accolade, The Line Of Best Fit were also proud runners up in ‘Best Online Content’, while editor Rich Thane was runner up in the ‘Best Editor’ category.
Elsewhere, The Guardian‘s Alexis Petridis won ‘Best Music Writer’, Pitchfork were awarded ‘Best Publication’ and Q won ‘Magazine Of The Year’.
‘Outstanding Contribution to Music Journalism’ went to Miranda Sawyer, while the Music PR and Photography equivalents were awarded to Regine Moylett and Jill Furmanovsky respectively.
