Rebecca Black to release "Friday" remix with collaborators for song's 10th anniversary
Rebecca Black has announced that she's releasing a 10th anniversary remix of "Friday" featuring some surprise collaborators tomorrow (10 February).
"Friday" was originally released in February 2011, and tomorrow (10 February), exactly 10 years on from the original release date for "Friday", Rebecca Black will release a new remix of her hit song.
According to Black, the remix will feature "some iconic people" that are yet to be announced.
As well as announcing the remix of "Friday", Black revealed that the single has just been certified gold in the US.
Black wrote on Twitter, "surprise this week FRIDAY turns 10 AND has gone GOLD. Been cooking up a very special remix featuring some iconic people...........it drops on the 10 year anniversary TOMORROW NIGHT @ MIDNIGHT."
