Reading and Leeds festival reveal first wave of acts and four headliners for 2019
Reading and Leeds festival have unveiled the first wave of acts confirmed for 2019, including all four headliners performing across the bank holiday weekend.
Next year's Reading and Leeds festivals will see Foo Fighters, The 1975, Post Malone and Twenty One Pilots headlining across the weekend.
There aren't any female headliners for next year, which is a surprise as festival boss Melvin Benn told the BBC he was aiming to "create a bigger pool of female acts" to choose, through giving 36 female artists one week of studio recording time over the next three years.
Other performers announced today include Bastille, Not3s, Sundara Karma, Pale Waves, Camelphat, Hayley Kiyoko, Blossoms, Billie Eilish, Stefflon Don, G Flip and more.
This year's festivals saw the likes of Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, Skepta, J Hus, Dua Lipa, Wolf Alice, The Blaze, Wretch 32, Sigrid, Kojo Funds and many more. Revisit our photo gallery.
