Forbes have revealed their list of the highest-earning figures in music, with Madonna topping this year’s list by raking in $120 million.

The results are based on “concert ticket sales, royalties for recorded music and publishing, merchandise sales, endorsement deals” as well as “other business ventures”.

Coming in second place behind Madge is Lady Gaga, followed by Bon Jovi, Coldplay and country singer Toby Keith. Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Beyonce and more are elsewhere in the Top 10.

Some interesting facts: Rihanna earns the same amount as Muse, and Jay Z gets paid as much as all of One Direction put together.
