Read a list of interview questions Run The Jewels don't want to be asked
It’s sometimes hard for journalists: you’re rushed into a room with your idols last minute with very little chance to even prepare, having spent most of your time that morning just trying to find the right West London hotel the band are currently staying at. But spare an even bigger thought for the interviewees, forced to sit in a white-walled room from 9-5 on press day as sweaty-palmed scribe after scribe asks them what their moniker means.
Run The Jewels, the collaborative hip-hop pairing of El-P and Killer Mike, have saved both parties a lot of time, effort and agony by issuing a short but succinct list of questions they’d rather not be posed with in an interview setting. These include how they met, what they think of the current rap climate and any questions that attempt to provoke some potential beef with their peers.
