Ray BLK shares empowering new track "Empress" with accompanying visuals
London's rising R&B star Ray BLK returns with "Empress", a track to help remind women of their individual power.
"Empress" is the second release from the Catford musician since the beginning of August, and provides another strong message, this time aimed at females.
On her new track, Ray BLK explains, “This is my story - done my way. It’s about seeing yourself, knowing what you deserve and it’s for girls to wake up and see themselves as empresses.”
The new track, which was originally performed at 2017's MOBO Awards, arrives with visuals directed by the award-winning Geej Ower, and features appearances from Maya Jama and Julie Adenuga, as well as other friends of the singer.
Last month Ray BLK revealed her hard-hitting 'Run Run", which provided fans with a snapshot into growing up in South London.
