Rappers pay tribute to Grammy-nominated Nipsey Hussle
Rappers around the world have been paying tribute to the Grammy-nominated Nipsey Hussle, who was shot dead aged 33.
The rapper was shot dead outside his clothes shop in South LA on Sunday (31 March), the BBC reports.
LA Mayor Eric Garcetti wrote on Twitter, "L.A. is hurt deeply each time a young life is lost to senseless gun violence."
Last year Hussle's debut album, Victory Lap, was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
Over the years the rapper has collaborated with Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Buddy, Rich The Kid, MGMT, and many others.
Rappers from multiple continents have since paid tributes to Hussle on socials.
