With James Blake’s best track arguably being the Kelis-sampling ‘CMYK’, it was about time somebody got their own back. And now Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. has borrowed from Blake’s ‘The Wilhelm Scream’ for his new number ‘R.E.M’.
The song is set to feature on the hip-hop star’s upcoming release King Remembered in Time and samples the infectious refrain “I don’t know about my dreams”.
