Rae Morris amps up the pop factor on new single "Do It"
Rae Morris has released new single "Do It", the second taste of her upcoming sophomore LP, and arguably her biggest pop belter yet.
The new track follows the summer's "Reborn", showing off Morris' newfound massive sound in a different way - this is less revelatory introspection and more unbridled pop joy. The accompanying video is by Noel Paul (Bat For Lashes, Röyksopp).
"This song is a dare to myself," explains Morris. "It’s about daring to take a risk and choosing to take the more exciting route! It kind of exists as a part two of 'Cold' from my first album Unguarded. It's what happens when you go back into the studio to make more music. Do you write another duet and do a similar thing, or take a risk and do something you've never done before? It's also pretty damn sexy!"
Morris will embark upon a new UK tour later this month, with a show at London's Islington Assembly Hall confirmed. Find out full details.
