Radiohead share fan favourite "Follow Me Around" 20 years after live debut
Radiohead fan favourite "Follow Me Around" has finally got an official release, and will appear on their KID A MNESIA album more than 20 years after debuting it live in Toronto.
"Follow Me Around" is officially released for the first time this afternoon (1 November), after a recording of the song appeared in the 1998 documentary Meeting People is Easy during Radiohead's soundcheck in Fukuoka, Japan.
Thom Yorke debuted the track to a live crowd for the first time in Toronto back in October 2000, after fans campaigned online for "Follow Me Around" to be played live.
Radiohead's new release, which will feature on their upcoming KID A MNESIA album, is teamed with an Us-directed video that stars Guy Pearce.
The track dates back to Radiohead's O.K. COMPUTER, with the band often playing the song during soundchecks on tour.
KID A MNESIA is a 21st anniversary edition of Radiohead's Kid A and Amnesiac albums, and will arrive with a bonus record titled Kid Amnesiae, that is due to include a variety of alternate versions, B-Sides and more from the Kid A and Amnesiac sessions.
