The Roots’ Questlove knows a thing or two about the world of television from their role as the house band for Jimmy Fallon and now he’s set to work on his very own show.
Soundclash will be a new live music series for VH1, executive produced by Questlove and hosted by none other than Diplo. The premise of the programme will be that each act has to cover a song by one of the other artists.
The first show (premiering on 23 July) will feature London Grammar, Fall Out Boy and Lil Wayne, while Ed Sheeran, Grouplove and Sia will follow the week after. That really is a “soundclash”, eh?
We’ll bring you more info on this when we have it.
