Queens Of The Stone Age share new single "The Way You Used To Do" and announce UK shows
Queens Of The Stone Age have shared "The Way You Used To Do", the first single from upcoming Mark Ronson-produced LP Villains.
"The title Villains isn’t a political statement," explains the band's Josh Homme. "It has nothing to do with Trump or any of that shit. It’s simply 1) a word that looks fantastic and 2) a comment on the three versions of every scenario: yours, mine, and what actually happened… everyone needs someone or something to rail against - their villain - same as it ever was. You can’t control that. The only thing you can really control is when you let go."
Ronson is on production duties, with co-production by Mark Rankin and mixing from Alan Moulder. Villains is QOTSA's first studio album since 2013's ...Like Clockwork and details of it emerge after a brief bout of teasing by the band.
Queens Of The Stone Age have also announced a handful of UK arena dates, plus a show in Dublin. They'll play Manchester Arena, The O2, and Edinburgh's Usher Hall (plus the 3Arena in the Irish capital) this November - find out more.
