Queens of the Stone Age drop new single 'My God Is The Sun'
Queens of the Stone Age are back with a brand new song which pretty much sums up everything fans have come to know (and love) about them in three and a half minutes.
Trademark propulsive drums, dusty bass, icy guitar tone, arena-ready chorus and Josh Homme’s falsetto, if you thought either of the Queens’ two previous outings strayed a tad too far from what made them great in the first place, ‘My God Is The Sun’ should quell any doubt about their forthcoming record …Like Clockwork.
It’s been reported that the classic Songs for the Deaf-era line-up is back for the record – with Dave Grohl, Nick Oliveri and Mark Lanegan back in the picture.
‘My God Is The Sun’ – streaming below – will appear on …Like Clockwork, due out in June.
