Pure Bathing Culture detail new LP Pray For Rain, share lead single of the same name
Pure Bathing Culture have officially announced their new record Pray For Rain, and shared the lead single/title track.
They shared a teaser trailer earlier this year, but now the full details of their John Congleton-produced record have arrived.
The band's Dan Hindman said of Congleton's input: “[He] pushed us to not make clichés, to not play into the style of other bands. He tricked me with the guitars on the album... we got the basic tracks down and he asked me to do scratch guitar and then John wouldn’t let me go back and do the guitars again. He refused to do any layering.”
Bandmate Sarah Versprille added: “It was shocking to hear what the finished product was... It was like being in a vortex and then we came out with this record.”
Pray For Rain is out 23 October via Memphis Industries. It's the follow up to 2013 debut Moon Tides.
