PUP share anthemic new track "Kids"
Toronto's PUP have shared explosive new track "Kids", the first taste of their forthcoming third album Morbid Stuff.
Last week fans received a zine where PUP announced their third album Morbid Stuff.
The package arrived with a red flexi-disc that played new track "Kids", which is the track the group are sharing with the world today.
""Kids" is a love song from one nihilistic depressive to another,” explains PUP vocalist Stefan Babcock. “It's about what happens when you stumble across the only other person on the face of this godless, desolate planet that thinks everything is as twisted and as fucked up as you do. And thanks to them, the world starts to seem just a little less bleak. But only slightly - it's still pretty fucked up to be honest.”
Morbid Stuff is produced, recorded and mixed by Dave Schiffman (Weezer, Cass McCombs, The Mars Volta), and will be their first record since 2016's The Dream Is Over.
