Pumarosa drop woozy new track "Adam's Song"
Pumarosa are back with woozy new single "Adam's Song", lifted from their forthcoming album Devastation.
"Adam's Song" is the fourth single to be shared from Devastation, after "I See You", "Heaven" and "Fall Apart".
Vocalist Isabel Muñoz-Newsome says of the new track, "Adam Christensen is a friend of ours. He performs in drag and can charge any space with sex and magic. We are wild about this lady. She is equally vivid singing at an exhibition opening or at the end of a party 7am when the sound system cuts out and we all still want more. Adam (or Madam) is an incredible performer who we have watched over the last few years on the South London art/party scene (now traveling the globe). I also happened to write the lyrics of "Adam's Song" when I was pretty wild about this woman. We were falling in and out of bed, delirious. So the track is diffused with this sexuality. They both have extraordinarily gorgeous long limbs."
Pumarosa's second album is produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Swans), and sees contributions from Tool's bassist Justin Chancellor. It will follow on from their 2017 debut The Witch.
