Flavor Flav, of hip-hop veterans Public Enemy, will stand trial for an alleged assault on the son of his long-term girlfriend.
The rapper is facing two felony charges in Las Vegas after being accused of wielding a knife on the 17 year old. The court heard testimony from the victim this week, with the hip-hop star set to appear again later this month.
If found guilty, Flavor Flav could face up to 12 years in jail.
Meanwhile, Public Enemy are set to celebrate 25th anniversary this year with a reissue of their collected back-catalogue.
