Princess Nokia makes feature film debut in trailer for Angelfish
The first trailer for new film Angelfish has been revealed, and shares a glimpse of Princess Nokia's debut feature film role.
Angelfish, directed by Peter Lee, will see Princess Nokia star as a woman called Eva, one half of a young couple that try to navigate through their relationship in the Bronx in 1993.
Speaking about her film role, Princess Nokia said, "I loved sharing this experience with Peter Lee and the incredible team of women who made this film possible."
The singer added, "I’m really grateful to have someone believe in me so much, and believe in this talent - not just my name or the idea of me. He respected me, he respected New York and the importance of bringing these Latino characters alive respectively and accurately. Which has truly meant the world to me."
Last month Princess Nokia shared her first single of the year, "Sugar Honey Iced Tea (S.H.I.T.)"
