Prince's death reportedly caused by opioid overdose

Tests have reportedly confirmed that Prince died following an "opioid overdose".
An unnamed law enforcement official today confirmed that the icon's death was caused by opioid drugs. The official - reportedly "close to the investigation" - was speaking to Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
The AP article adds: "Investigators have been reviewing whether Prince died of an overdose and whether a doctor was prescribing him drugs in the weeks before his death."
Prince died aged 57 on 21 April at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota.
