Prince to appear in an episode of New Girl

Who would have thought Prince was a fan of Zooey Deschanel’s FOX sitcom, New Girl? Well, it turns out he is and he’s even asked to star in an episode of the show.
Yes, as Dr. Funkenberry report, the musician recently got in touch with the show’s producers and pitched them an idea for an episode centring around one of his now-legendary all-night party-come-gigs. The pitch was successful and now the Prince episode will air after the Superbowl on 2 February, starring a cameo from the man himself.
It’ll be Prince’s first-ever appearance on a U.S sitcom.
